Startup: from a prototype to selling at major banks

I’ve decided to help out a start-up. Created by two financiers they try to go beyond the usual explanations of ‘M&A’.

The workshop requires teams to value, bid and negotiate on fictitious companies, in a digital simulation – except the negotiation, that happens face-to-face.

The event was a great success and I organised similar ones at other universities around the UK (e.g. LSE).

When Covid hit, we transitioned the events to be fully virtual. I started doing the business development towards major banks. In July we delivered a two week training to the interns of RBC!
